OLX Deal Tracker — an AI deal hunter
A personal bargain hunter: watches a popular marketplace, scores every new listing with AI, and notifies me only when something is genuinely worth it.
The idea
Good second-hand deals live for minutes. Catching them means either scrolling constantly (no), or having a robot scroll for you and tap you on the shoulder only when it matters (yes).
How it works
The tracker checks new listings for configured searches. The clever detail: it doesn’t drive a browser or parse HTML — the marketplace loads its listings as structured data inside the page itself, and the tracker reads that directly. Faster, more stable, and far more polite to the servers on the other end.
Every new listing goes through an AI evaluation via the AI Fusion gateway: is the price fair for the market, what’s the condition according to the description, any red flags. Listings above the threshold arrive as a notification; everything else sinks quietly into the database.
The lesson
The best automation is the kind that gives you time back. This tool doesn’t give me superpowers — it just saves me half an hour of aimless scrolling a day. And half an hour a day, it turns out, is exactly enough to maintain two more side projects.
